Liv Hewson can currently be seen in YELLOWJACKETS, Showtime’s Emmy nominated series. Liv is currently filming season two, where they will be reprising their role as Teen Van. The Australian actor first came to the attention of American audiences in 2017 with Netflix’s SANTA CLARITA DIET, as the smart-mouthed daughter of “mombie” Drew Barrymore. That same year, they played a teen outcast opposite Zoey Deutch in Open Road’s supernatural thriller BEFORE I FALL, based on Lauren Oliver’s YA best-seller.
Even while breaking in the U.S., Hewson continued to garner attention in their native country; shortly after joining the second season-cast of the critically acclaimed BBC series TOP OF THE LAKE for directors Jane Campion and Garth Davis, Hewson starred in the adaptation of the This American Life story LET’S SEE HOW FAST THIS BABY WILL GO, which garnered its director Julietta Boscolo the “Emerging Australian Filmmaker” Award at the 2017 Melbourne International Film Festival.
They can also be seen as “Lily Balin,” Megyn Kelley’s (Charlize Theron’s) plucky assistant in Jay Roach’s BOMBSHELL, and Netflix’s adaptation of the YA bestseller, LET IT SNOW, opposite Odeya Rush and Kiernan Shipka.
